MACtown's Opportunities Under The Medicaid Waiver
Skill Acquisition Center (SAC):
SAC enrolls a mix of geriatric participants and adults with behavioral conditions which prevent
them from participating in a vocationally focused ADT program. SAC combines various leisure and
recreational activities to teach appropriate social skills in public settings. SAC provides
limited work opportunities for those participants wishing to earn some money, but the typical
participant prefers to participate in educational classes. These classes concentrate on various
